Eopteranodon

Lü and Zhang 2005

Eopteranodon est un genre fossile de ptérosaures de la super-famille des Azhdarchoidea, du Barrémien supérieur à l'Aptien inférieur du Crétacé inférieur, découvert dans le Liaoning en Chine. Selon Paleobiology Database en 2025, ce genre Eopteranodon est resté monotypique et a une seule espèce fossile référencée, son espèce-type Eopteranodon lii. Mais pourtant la deuxième collection de fossiles est enregistrée dans PaleoDB pour l'espèce Eopteranodon yixianensis, découverte en 1999.
