Ophthalmothule est un genre fossile de plésiosaures de la famille des Cryptoclididae qui vivait durant le Jurassique supérieur et plus précisément au Tithonien et qui a été trouvé sur l'île de Spitsberg, en mer du Groenland, en Norvège.
