Cast of a Scaphognathus crassirostris, a kind of pterosaur. On display as part of the exhibit "Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs" at the Cleveland Natural History Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.
This animal lived about 150 million years ago. This fossil was found in the Solnhofen formation in Germany. This is a cast; the fossil itself is held by the Institute of Geology and Paleontology at the University of Bonn.

A restoration of Rinconsaurus compared to a human ,

•  Based proportionally on fossil elements and skeletal reconstruction featured in the Rinconsaurus description,[1] with missing parts based on other titanosaur reconstructions. The remains of Rinconsaurus represent two adults and a juvenile all of which are incomplete; some of the proportions shown here, such as the neck, limb lengths, and skull shape are not certain.
•  Osteroderms are not yet known in Rinconsaurus.  The osteoderms shown here are based loosely on Mendozasaurus.[2] Osteoderms are known from at least 10 titanosaur genera spread across the family tree but it's not clear if all titanosaurs had them.[3] Titanosaur osteoderms are rare and their layout and position on the body are not certain. [4]
•  The colours and patterns, as with the majority of reconstructions of prehistoric creatures, are speculative.
•  Human silhouette approximately 180 cm tall.

The original skeleton is compiled from disarticulated fossil bones from a bonebed of the Hell Creek Formation, exposed in the Ruth Mason Quarry in Harding County, South Dakota. It is 8.5 m (28 ft.) long and the skull is almost 1 m (39 in.) in length.[1][2]

Jian is a microraptorine dromaeosaur, and the only non-avian dinosaur so far discovered from the Xiagou Formation of what is now China. Typical of microraptorinae, Jian had long pennaceous feathers growing from its arms as well as its legs, and was small in size, growing to approximately 1 m in total body length.

Brontotholus is a relatively large pachycephalosaurian dinosaur. Like all pachycephalosaurs, it was bipedal and sported the characteristic bony dome on top of its skull. Brontotholus grew to nearly 4 m in length, making it one of the largest known pachycephalosaurs, and the largest from the Campanian age.

 Cette semaine, nous allons découvrir un dinosaure dont l'identité a fait l'objet de nombreux débats pendant des décennies.  Découvrez Nanotyrannus ! Nanotyrannus était un dinosaure carnivore qui vivait dans ce qui est aujourd'hui le Montana aux États-Unis au cours de la dernière période du Crétacé, il y a entre 67 et 66 millions d'années.  Du museau à la queue, il mesurait entre 17 et 20 pieds (6,2 mètres) de long à l’état adulte. Le nom du genre se traduit par « petit tyran nain » car on pensait à l'origine qu'il s'agissait d'un proche parent.
